This work is a continuation of a series of geometric abstraction paintings started long ago by the artist. Its background themes of blue and green remind us of a verdant natural background, suggestive of the energy that flows among all living things. At a distance, crisp white lines make us think of linear energy (photons) as they bounce from surface to surface. Closer in, we see green lines, and then blue lines, reminding us of energies that are not always apparent at first.
The artwork consists of acrylic pant and vinyl tape on a stretched canvas. It was created in 2026 at the artist's studio in Texas.
